Getting on the Water

When are we on the Water?

Sailing is every Friday afternoon from May to October from 13:00 to 15:30. Some of our sailors like to come early and have lunch by the lake. Beverages are available.

Come down and give it a try.

Who can take Part?

We welcome anybody with any disability, with or without any sailing experience.

Our RYA qualified Instructors can teach you the basics and give you the confidence to sail by yourself. They can take you through different qualifications, improve your techniques, or just sail the boat while you enjoy the ride. Get in touch with us and tell us what you’d like to do.

How much does it Cost?

To sail, Annual, single membership is £40.

Safety Afloat

All Sailability sessions are run by a RYA qualified Senior Instructor and the sailing is supervised by qualified Instructors and experienced sailors. Sailing is always accompanied by one or more Safety Boats with qualified and experienced powerboat drivers and competent crew-members. All sailors and helpers wear life jackets or buoyancy aids when on or near the water.

Unfortunately we can’t act as carers but your own carer will be very welcome, and might even get a sail.
